Red Cafe Home

A big thank you to all our volunteers who give so generously of their time to make the Red Café happen. Where would we be without you?
Without our incredible volunteers Red Café could not continue to provide the valuable community iniatives it does. Could you give some time to help?

Youth Cafe

Give 2-3 hours a week

Could you give 2-3 hours a week to help out on a Wednesday or Friday evening?

Could you help run the bar or look after the kitchen?

Could you manage a small kitchen and prepare easy to cook food (like beans on toast or cheese toasties)

Calling all Students

Do something worthwhile and gain some valuable community experience for your C.V.

Calling young people

Could you help to run a youth night? Maybe you could help with the set up and pack down. It’s all good experience for your record of achievement and it’s great to be involved.

Volunteer

Help occassionally

We need volunteers to help us carry on providing the best possible service.

Can you fix stuff?

You could complete some small DIY tasks for us once in a while

Can you bake a cake?

We love cake and anyone who bakes us one!  Why not try?

Can you help look after the IT equipment?

With so many computers around the place we’re always appreciative of someone who is computer savy to come and lend a hand troubleshooting and maintaining the equipment.

Do you enjoy spring cleaning?

Our quarterly cleaning and de-cluttering days are legendary amongst staff and volunteers so any help from carrying and carting to dusting and mopping would be gratefully received.

Fair Trade

Can you teach a skill?

We’ve had workshops in:

  • Guitar
  • Jewellery
  • DJing
  • Cooking
  • Dance
  • Software
  • Ceramics
  • Singing
  • Sexual health
  • 'Big’ issues
  • Drama
  • ...and a whole lot more.

Perhaps you could run a workshop and add some valuable community experience to your C.V.?
