Fair Trade and Sustainability
Whether its fruit juice, chocolate, peanut butter, pasta, rice, jam or rubber gloves you'll find fairly traded products used and on sale at Red Café. Producers in poor countries receive a fair and stable price or wage for their goods. So buying Fair Trade is a way of doing something to bring about a better, more generous world. Now that's something we think sounds worth doing.
Supporting Mutende Children's Village in Africa
Mutende Children's Village near Chingola, Zambia cares for needy children and young people, many who are orphans. Mutende provides a family environment and is run and staffed by local people. Red Café is one of the UK projects that supports Mutende. Whether it's by visiting or through fundraising we are convinced that we can make a difference by helping to change a child's world. http://mutende.com
